Building Pharmacy Email Lists

When consolidating contact data from pharmacy management systems (PMS: QS/1, PioneerRx, Liberty -- typically CSV), patient databases, prescriber databases (NPI Registry -- CSV), payer network directories, clinical programme databases, immunisation registries, community health event sign-ups, loyalty programme databases and referral source tracking systems, upload the files to Email Extractor to extract and deduplicate email addresses across all sources. Patients interact with pharmacies through prescriptions, immunisations, clinical services, loyalty programmes and community events, and the same patient who fills prescriptions, uses the loyalty programme and attended a health screening appears in multiple systems, so deduplication ensures each patient receives one set of communications. Note that patient email data is PHI under HIPAA and must be handled according to HIPAA requirements including encryption, access controls and business associate agreements with any third-party tools.
