Preparing Contact Data for Import

Regardless of which CRM you choose, importing a clean, deduplicated contact list avoids duplicate records that fragment relationship history. When consolidating contact data from previous CRM exports (CSV), email marketing platform exports (CSV), spreadsheets, business card scan apps, LinkedIn connection exports (CSV), event attendee lists (CSV) and other sources, upload the files to Email Extractor to extract and deduplicate email addresses across all sources before importing. All three platforms manage contacts individually, so importing the same contact twice from different sources creates duplicate records with split activity histories, making it harder to see the full relationship picture.
