Pipedrive vs Close vs Salesflare: CRM Comparison for Sales Teams

On this page

Compare the workflow your team needs

Pipedrive, Close and Salesflare manage sales contacts and opportunities. Choosing among them requires testing your own sales process, export requirements and team permissions. This review checks official product documentation on 8 October 2026; it is not a hands-on benchmark or a ranking of usability.

Current plans and capabilities

Product Documented distinction What to check before buying
Pipedrive The current plans are Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate. Growth adds email sync and nurturing sequences; higher plans add further enrichment and controls. Required email features, enrichment access, add-ons and local billing currency
Close Current plans include Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale. Essentials includes email, calling and SMS; Growth adds workflows and a power dialer. User limits, workflow requirements and communication usage charges
Salesflare Current plans include Growth, Pro and Enterprise. Included automation, team controls and billing interval for your intended plan

These are documented plan distinctions, not evidence that one product performs better. Consult Pipedrive pricing, Close pricing and Salesflare pricing for the current quote. Prices depend on currency, billing interval, seats, taxes and add-ons; an old plan name or isolated starting price is not a reliable budget.

Export contacts before a migration

Pipedrive's export guide documents Excel and CSV exports. Confirm export permissions and select the relevant contact data; a deal report may not contain every contact you intend to move.

Close's export guide distinguishes Leads, Contacts and Opportunities, with CSV or JSON output and common or all fields. Choose Contacts for an address inventory and keep the original records if you need lead relationships or activities.

Salesflare's export guide describes exporting accounts, contacts and opportunities from each page's three-dot menu. Its export-field explanation notes that entity IDs help link related records. Preserve those IDs for a complete migration.

Evaluate with the same sample

Import a small permitted sample into each trial. Test a contact with multiple addresses, a shared team mailbox, an existing contact and a contact without an email. Check whether names, companies, ownership, activities and suppression status survive the workflow. Record which paid features you used and obtain a quote for the same seat count and billing interval.

For an address inventory, upload copies of supported exports to Email Extractor, extract, and download CSV with sources. This finds repeated email strings across files; it does not migrate CRM relationships or reconcile people. Import the original export when you need the other fields.
