How to Extract Emails from a Salesflare Export
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Salesflare?
Salesflare is an intelligent CRM designed for small and medium B2B businesses. It automates data entry by pulling contact information from your email, calendar, phone and social media. Salesflare automatically creates contact records, logs email interactions, tracks website visits and enriches contact profiles. It stores email addresses, names, companies, phone numbers, social profiles, interaction history and custom fields.
Extracting email addresses from Salesflare data is useful in several scenarios.
Migrating to another CRM. When switching from Salesflare to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another CRM, extracting email addresses helps verify that all contacts were transferred correctly.
Building email campaign lists. If you want to email Salesflare contacts through a dedicated email marketing platform (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite), extracting gives you a clean list to import.
Consolidating contacts. If your team uses Salesflare alongside other tools, extracting from each and deduplicating reveals your total unique email-address count.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Auditing auto-created contacts. Salesflare automatically creates contacts from your email and calendar activity. Your database may contain contacts you never intentionally added. Extracting and reviewing email addresses helps audit what Salesflare has collected.
How to Export from Salesflare
Salesflare allows you to export contact data.
Exporting contacts
- Log in to Salesflare.
- Go to the Contacts section.
- Apply any filters to narrow the export (by tag, owner, company, or date), or leave unfiltered for all contacts.
- Click Export (look for the export option in the toolbar or settings menu).
- Choose CSV as the format.
- Download the file.
Exporting accounts
Salesflare also organises contacts under accounts (companies). You can export account data separately if needed.
Export fields
Salesflare exports can include: email addresses, first name, last name, company, job title, phone numbers, social profile URLs, tags, owner, last interaction date, creation date and custom fields. The exact columns depend on your Salesflare configuration.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Import into an email platform
The extracted list can be imported into any email marketing platform. This is useful when your CRM contacts need to receive marketing campaigns through a separate tool.
Compare after migration
If you are migrating from Salesflare to another CRM, extract from both systems after migration. Comparing the two lists confirms that all contacts were transferred.
Audit auto-created contacts
Salesflare automatically creates contacts from emails, calendar events and other interactions. Export and extract to see all email addresses in your database. Review the list for contacts that should not be there (e.g., one-time correspondents, support agents, no-reply addresses). This helps you clean up before running campaigns.
Verify addresses
Salesflare contacts may include old or inactive email addresses. Run the extracted list through a verification service to identify bounces before using the list. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Column headers are not extracted
CSV column headers from Salesflare are text labels, not email addresses, so they do not appear in the extracted results.
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, companies, job titles, tags, interaction history and custom fields from the Salesflare export are not carried over.
Auto-created contacts
Salesflare automatically creates contact records from your email inbox and calendar. This means your Salesflare database likely contains more contacts than you manually entered. Be aware that extracted email addresses may include people from brief email exchanges or one-time meetings.
Multiple email addresses per contact
Salesflare contacts can have multiple email addresses. All email addresses in the export are extracted. A contact with two email addresses contributes two entries to the extracted list.
Enriched data
Salesflare enriches contact records with publicly available information (social profiles, company data, job titles). This enriched data appears in exports as additional columns but does not affect email extraction.
Team data
Salesflare supports team accounts with shared contacts. Your export may include contacts from across your entire team's activity. Team members' own email addresses may also appear in the export.
Email tracking data
Salesflare tracks email opens and clicks. This tracking data is separate from contact data and is not included in standard CSV exports.
Opportunities and pipeline
Salesflare organises deals in a pipeline. The contacts export is separate from the opportunities/pipeline export. Export contacts to get email addresses; export opportunities to get deal data.
