Email Extraction for Podcast Guest Research

On this page

Start with guest relevance, then contact details

A useful guest list begins with people whose work fits the programme. Email Extractor can collect addresses already published in source material; it cannot confirm a person's interest, availability or expertise.

Review the work that makes someone relevant before adding them to your list. Record the topic, the specific source and the proposed conversation. A large extracted list is not a guest pipeline until those connections have been checked.

Look for the stated booking route

An author's website may direct enquiries to a publicist. A researcher may list a laboratory contact. A speaker may prefer a booking form or agency. Follow those instructions instead of assuming that a personal address is always available or preferred.

Conference pages and publisher biographies can help identify potential guests, but many contain names and biographies without email addresses. Email Extractor does not generate the missing addresses from those names. A publisher's contact is also not necessarily the author's own inbox.

Extract from the appropriate input

For public pages, open Webpages, enter relevant URLs, allow downloading and click Load webpages. Once pages load, click Extract emails. A run permits up to 10 websites and 25 pages per website. Including important linked pages can help discover contact or team pages, but does not guarantee every booking route will be found.

For authorized PDFs or documents, use Text and files, upload the supported files and click Extract emails. Files are processed in your browser, within the 25 MB per-file and 100 MB batch limits. Scanned pages may need text recognition first.

These input flows do not automatically merge. Download results before replacing them. Choose CSV + sources to keep references for review.

Review a workable guest shortlist

Keep separate fields for the potential guest, relevant work, contact route, collection date and invitation status. The extractor's output does not automatically map every address to a person. A page can include venue, webmaster and sponsor contacts alongside the speaker information.

Use the optional extension when you need accessible content already loaded in your browser. It still cannot promise hidden addresses, unloaded rows or unrestricted access to embedded pages.

Send an accurate invitation

Explain the programme, why the person's work fits, the format and the practical commitment. Link a representative episode. Give real audience figures only if you have them; do not invent reach or promise exposure.

Address the publicist or booking team when that is the stated route. Respect a decline and avoid treating silence as consent to repeated invitations. Email Extractor helps prepare the source list; scheduling and correspondence remain in your own workflow.
