How to Extract Emails from Google Ads Lead Form Extensions

On this page

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.

Why Extract from Google Ads Lead Forms?

Google Ads lead form extensions (also called lead form assets) collect contact information directly within Google Search, YouTube and Discovery ads. When someone clicks the lead form, a form pre-filled with their Google account information appears. They can submit it without visiting your website. This generates leads with minimal friction.

Extracting email addresses from Google Ads lead form data is useful for importing into a CRM or email marketing platform, following up with leads, consolidating leads from multiple campaigns or creating a backup.

How to Download Google Ads Leads

Downloading from Google Ads

  1. Log in to Google Ads.
  2. Go to Ads & assets (or Assets).
  3. Find the lead form extension.
  4. Click on the lead form asset.
  5. Click Download leads to get a CSV file.
  6. The CSV includes email, name, phone and any custom questions.

Downloading from campaign reports

  1. Navigate to the campaign with lead form extensions.
  2. Go to the lead form asset's reporting.
  3. Download lead data.

CRM integrations

Google Ads lead forms can be connected to CRMs via webhooks or integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier). If configured, leads flow automatically.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

  1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  2. Select "Text and files."
  3. Upload the CSV file downloaded from Google Ads. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  4. Click "Extract emails."
  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Working with the Results

Import into a CRM or marketing platform

Google Ads collects leads but does not provide email marketing features. Import the extracted list into HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp or another platform for follow-up and nurture campaigns.

Respond quickly

Like Facebook Lead Ads, Google lead form submissions are time-sensitive. Import and follow up promptly.

Consolidate across ad platforms

If you run lead ads on both Google and Facebook (Meta), download leads from each and upload together. Deduplication shows your total unique leads across platforms.

Verify addresses

Google pre-fills email addresses from user accounts. Most are valid, but verification before campaigns is recommended. See Best email verification services.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, phone numbers, custom responses and other fields are not carried over.

Lead retention

Google Ads stores lead data for 30 days. After 30 days, leads are deleted. Download leads regularly or set up a CRM integration for automatic delivery.

Pre-filled data

Google pre-fills the form with the user's Google account email. Users can edit this before submitting.

YouTube and Discovery leads

Lead form extensions work across Google Search, YouTube and Discovery (Demand Gen) campaigns. All leads are downloaded the same way.

Custom questions

Lead forms can include custom qualifying questions. Responses appear in the CSV but are not extracted by Email Extractor.

Lead quality

Google lead form leads may vary in quality. Consider using Google's "More qualified" lead form type, which adds a confirmation step to reduce accidental submissions.
