How webpage email extraction works

On this page

Loading a website and extracting email addresses are separate steps. Neither step guarantees that an address will be found.

Choose the pages you want

Open Webpages and enter complete public HTTP or HTTPS URLs. Entered pages only loads those exact pages. Include important linked pages can discover more pages on the same websites, prioritizing contact, about and team pages. Same-site sitemap and feed links can supply additional candidates.

A run supports up to 10 websites and 25 pages per website. A scan is bounded; it does not promise to inspect every page on a site. Resource limits or website restrictions can stop it earlier. Review the page list to distinguish loaded pages from failures.

Understand where requests go

Allow downloading these public pages, then choose Load webpages. With the local preview, the downloader runs on your computer. On a hosted deployment, webpage requests run through the website service. That service receives the requested URL and returns page content. This app does not fall back to CodeTabs or AllOrigins.

Use public URLs without passwords, private tokens or confidential query parameters. File extraction remains in your browser. After pages load, choose Extract emails to process the downloaded content and review its source URLs.

When a page cannot load

A website may restrict automated access, require JavaScript or return a verification screen. An HTTP error is not an email-extraction result, and retrying cannot guarantee access. Open the page normally and use the optional extension on content you can access, or paste readable page text into Text and files.

The extension cannot recover unloaded rows or grant access you do not have. Review the resulting addresses and their sources before using them. Finding an address on a public page does not grant permission to send unsolicited messages.
