Preparing Data Before Importing

Whichever tool you choose, start with clean data. When consolidating email lists from multiple sources (CRM exports, event sign-ups, purchased lists, website forms -- typically CSV, XLSX, TXT or PDF), upload the files to Email Extractor to extract and deduplicate email addresses before importing. All three tools charge by records (Airtable), can slow down with duplicates (Notion), or become unwieldy with redundant rows (Google Sheets), so deduplication before import keeps your database lean and your costs down.
