Language is saved on this device. Email addresses, URLs and filenames are never translated.

Extract emails from public webpages

Load public webpages, then extract email addresses from their content. Loading pages and extracting emails are two separate steps.

1. Choose public pages to load

  1. Open the extractor and choose Webpages.
  2. Enter public URLs, separated by commas, spaces or new lines. Use up to 10 websites per run.
  3. Choose Entered pages only to load exactly those pages, or Include important linked pages to also look for useful pages on the same websites.
  4. If the page needs scripts to display its content, select Read pages that need JavaScript, when available.
  5. Review the permission text, tick the download permission, then click Load webpages.

Start with the URLs you enter, then look for useful pages on the same website, such as Contact, About and Team. Loads up to 25 pages per website. They respect website crawl restrictions and may finish with fewer pages. Starting a new load replaces previously loaded pages; download results you need to keep first.

On this hosted website, public URLs go to our server for loading. Text and files stay in your browser. Do not enter passwords, private tokens or confidential URLs. JavaScript reading runs a browser on the server; nothing is installed on your computer.

2. Extract emails from loaded pages

  1. Wait for loading to finish. Check each page’s status and any error details.
  2. Click Extract emails to read the loaded content. After extraction, this button becomes View results.
  3. Review sources, filter the list, then copy or download the matching emails.

A loaded page can contain no email addresses. Failed pages do not erase successfully loaded pages. Use Cancel loading to stop an unfinished load. Clear resets URLs, loading options, permission and webpage results; History remains.

See the results guide for filters, downloads and History.

When should I use the browser extension?

Use it for a page you can open in Chrome or Edge, including signed-in content or a page the server cannot load. Open the page and complete any sign-in or verification yourself. The extension extracts addresses from content it can access in your browser.

  1. Download and install the extension, then open the page and click Read this page in the extension.
  2. In the extension, choose Download with sources to save its emails and source information as JSON. Clear the extension’s search first if you want every saved email.
  3. Return to Webpages, choose Import browser capture, and select that file.
  4. Click Extract emails, then review the results.

The extension can also copy and download emails on its own. Importing is only needed to bring those emails into the main extractor. It adds source pages and replaces an existing entry with the same URL; it does not import the original webpage. It cannot guarantee access to hidden, unloaded or restricted content.

Captures from private URLs, URLs containing tokens or credentials, or nonstandard ports cannot be imported into Webpages. Choose Download CSV in the extension, then Upload files in Text and files instead.

Something did not work?

A website blocks the request
Open the page in your browser and use the extension, or paste the readable text into Text and files. A browser on the server cannot guarantee a website will allow access. Download and install the extension if you do not have it yet.
The loaded page looks empty
Try JavaScript reading if available. For content behind a sign-in, use the extension in your browser instead.
Loading times out or is unavailable
Try fewer entered URLs without following links, retry later, or use the extension. Successfully loaded pages remain usable.
An imported file is rejected
Use the JSON created by Download with sources in Email Extractor’s extension. The JSON must be under 5 MB. CSV, TXT and other exports belong in Text and files.
