How to Extract Emails from Close CRM Activities

How to Export from Close CRM

Exporting leads with activity data

1. Log in to Close CRM.
2. Go to Leads.
3. Use Smart Views to filter by activity criteria (e.
4. Click Export to download as CSV.
5. The export includes lead and contact details with email addresses.

Using Smart Views

1. Go to Leads then Smart Views.
2. Create a view with activity-based filters:
   • Last email sent date.
   • Number of calls in a period.
   • Last activity date.
   • Opportunity status.
3. Export the view results as CSV.

Exporting email activity

1. Go to Reporting then Activity.
2. Filter by email activity, date range and team member.
3. Export the report as CSV.

Using the Close CRM API

1. Use the /api/v1/activity/email/ endpoint to list email activities.
2. Each activity includes sender and recipient email addresses.
3. Filter by date range or user.
4. Save results as JSON.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
2. Select "Text and files."
3. Upload the CSV or JSON file from Close CRM. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, companies, opportunity values, activity dates and other Close CRM fields are not carried over.

Team member emails

Activity exports include both contact and team member email addresses. Review the extracted list and remove internal email addresses.

Multiple activities per contact

A contact may have many activities. Email Extractor deduplicates automatically.
