How to Extract Emails from ConvertBox Leads
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from ConvertBox?
ConvertBox is a website engagement and lead capture tool that creates targeted opt-in forms, pop-ups, sticky bars, full-page overlays and embedded forms. It uses visitor segmentation and targeting rules to show personalised offers based on behaviour, referral source, page visited, time on site and other conditions. ConvertBox is popular among bloggers, course creators, SaaS companies and online businesses.
ConvertBox stores leads (visitors who submitted their email through a ConvertBox form) and sends them to integrated email platforms. Extracting email addresses from ConvertBox leads is useful for consolidating contacts, verifying addresses, importing into platforms without a direct integration, auditing opt-in data or creating a backup.
How to Export from ConvertBox
- Log in to ConvertBox.
- Go to your dashboard.
- Navigate to the leads or contacts section.
- Export leads as a CSV file.
- The CSV includes email, name (if collected), the ConvertBox that captured the lead, submission date and any custom fields.
Integration-first design
ConvertBox is designed to send leads directly to email marketing platforms (ActiveCampaign, Kit, Mailchimp, Drip, AWeber, GetResponse, MailerLite, etc.) through integrations. Most users rely on integrations for real-time lead delivery. The export feature provides a way to access leads stored in ConvertBox directly.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file exported from ConvertBox. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Verify against your email platform
If ConvertBox is integrated with your email platform, compare the extracted ConvertBox leads against your subscriber list. Any discrepancies may indicate integration failures where leads were captured but not delivered to your platform.
Import into an unintegrated platform
If you have switched email platforms or use a platform that ConvertBox does not integrate with directly, the extracted list can be imported manually.
Combine with other opt-in sources
If you collect leads from ConvertBox, OptinMonster, embedded forms (WPForms, Gravity Forms), landing pages (Leadpages, Unbounce) and other sources, upload all exports together. Deduplication reveals your total unique email-address count across all opt-in touchpoints.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Verify addresses
Form submissions can include typos, disposable addresses and spam entries. Verification before sending campaigns improves deliverability. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, custom field values, ConvertBox names, submission dates and segmentation data from the export are not carried over.
Visitor segmentation
ConvertBox segments visitors based on behaviour, referral source, UTM parameters, page visits, time on site and other criteria. Different ConvertBoxes can be shown to different visitor segments. All leads are stored together regardless of which segment triggered the form.
One-time purchase
ConvertBox uses a one-time purchase pricing model (lifetime deal) rather than a monthly subscription. This pricing model does not affect data export.
Conditional logic
ConvertBox forms can include conditional logic (showing different fields or content based on visitor answers). Leads captured through conditional forms appear in the same leads section.
Multiple ConvertBoxes
You can create multiple ConvertBoxes on your site (different pop-ups, sticky bars, embedded forms on different pages). Each captures leads separately, but all are accessible from the same dashboard.
Custom fields
ConvertBox forms can collect custom fields beyond email and name. These fields are included in the export but not preserved by Email Extractor.
Tracking and analytics
ConvertBox tracks views, conversions and conversion rates for each form. This analytics data is separate from lead export.
WordPress and other platforms
ConvertBox works with any website through a JavaScript snippet. It also offers a WordPress plugin for easier installation. Lead storage and export are handled in the ConvertBox dashboard, not in WordPress.
