How to Extract Emails from AWeber Automations

Why Extract from AWeber Automations?

AWeber is an email marketing platform with automation features including campaigns (autoresponder sequences), tagging rules and subscriber management. Subscribers enter campaigns based on triggers like form signups, tag additions, purchase events and list subscriptions.

Extracting email addresses from AWeber automation data is useful for auditing which subscribers went through a specific campaign, building follow-up segments, sharing data with teams outside AWeber or analyzing campaign performance.

How to Export from AWeber

Using tags applied by campaigns

  1. Configure campaigns to apply tags at key steps (e.
  2. Go to Subscribers.
  3. Search or filter by the relevant tag.
  4. Click Export to download as CSV.

Exporting a list

  1. Go to Manage Lists and select the list.
  2. Go to Subscribers.
  3. Filter by subscription status (subscribed, unsubscribed, unconfirmed).
  4. Export as CSV.

Using subscriber search

  1. Go to Subscribers then Manage Subscribers.
  2. Use search filters to find subscribers by tag, list, signup date or custom field.
  3. Export the filtered results as CSV.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

  1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  2. Select "Text and files."
  3. Upload the CSV file from AWeber. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  4. Click "Extract emails."
  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Campaign performance analysis

Extract subscribers tagged by different campaigns. Compare counts to measure campaign reach.

Cross-platform campaigns

Extract subscribers who completed an AWeber campaign to import into a CRM or a different platform for the next phase.

Re-engage inactive subscribers

Extract subscribers who entered a campaign but did not receive the completion tag. Use the list for re-engagement.

Share with teams

Export subscribers from specific campaigns to share with team members who do not have AWeber access.

Verify addresses

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, custom fields, signup dates and other AWeber data are not carried over.

Lists and tags

AWeber uses both lists and tags for organization. Campaigns are associated with lists, and tags provide additional categorization within and across lists.

Multiple campaigns

A subscriber can receive messages from multiple campaigns. They appear once in the extracted list after deduplication.
