Why Extract from Constant Contact Automations?

Constant Contact offers automated email series including welcome sequences, birthday emails, anniversary messages and resend-to-non-openers workflows. Each automation tracks which contacts entered, completed or are currently active in the series.

While the general Constant Contact export is covered in Extract Emails from Constant Contact Export, segment data in Extract Emails from Constant Contact Segments, and report data in Extract Emails from Constant Contact Reports, this article focuses on automation-specific exports.

Working with the Results

Welcome sequence completers

Extract emails from contacts who completed a welcome series. These contacts have been nurtured and are ready for the next campaign stage.

Automation drop-offs

Extract emails from contacts who entered but did not complete an automation. Use for re-engagement or manual follow-up.

Birthday and anniversary contacts

Extract emails from contacts in date-triggered automations. Use for personalized outreach through other channels.

Verify addresses

Contacts active in automations are confirmed subscribers. Bounced addresses within automations should be removed. See Best email verification services.
