How to Extract Emails from Keap Automations

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.

Why Extract from Keap Automations?

Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) is a CRM and marketing automation platform for small businesses. Its Campaign Builder creates complex automation sequences with triggers, emails, tasks, tags, internal forms and decision logic. Contacts move through these campaigns based on their behavior and the rules you set.

Extracting email addresses from Keap automation data is useful for auditing which contacts went through a specific campaign, building follow-up segments, sharing data with teams outside Keap or analyzing campaign performance.

How to Export from Keap

Using tags applied by campaigns

3. Select all filtered contacts.
4. Click Actions then Export.
5. Choose CSV format.

Using saved searches

1. Go to Contacts.
2. Create a saved search with criteria related to campaign activity (e.

Exporting all contacts

1. Go to Contacts.
2. Click Export to download all contacts as CSV.
3. The export includes email, name, tags, company, phone and custom fields.

Using the Keap API

1. Use the /v1/contacts endpoint with tag filters.
2. Save results as CSV or JSON.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
2. Select "Text and files."
3. Upload the CSV file from Keap. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
4. Click "Extract emails."
5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, companies, lead scores, custom fields and other Keap data are not carried over.

Tag-based tracking

Keap relies heavily on tags for tracking campaign progress. Make sure your campaigns apply tags at key steps so you can filter and export specific groups.

Multiple campaigns

A contact can be in multiple campaigns simultaneously. They appear once in the extracted list after deduplication.
