How to Extract Emails from Lusha Contacts
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Lusha?
Lusha is a B2B contact data platform that provides business email addresses and phone numbers for sales prospecting. It offers a browser extension that reveals contact details while browsing LinkedIn, a web app with search and filtering, bulk enrichment, intent data, CRM integration and an API. Sales teams, recruiters and marketers use Lusha to find accurate contact information for outreach.
Lusha stores contacts that you have revealed (used credits to view) or saved to lists. Extracting email addresses from Lusha data is useful for importing into a CRM, consolidating with contacts from other data providers, deduplicating across tools, verifying addresses or creating a clean prospect file.

Working with the Results
Import into a CRM
The extracted list can be imported into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another CRM. Lusha integrates directly with several CRMs, but extraction is useful when integration is not set up or for CRMs Lusha does not connect to.
Deduplicate across data providers
If you use multiple B2B data providers (Lusha, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, RocketReach), upload all exports together. Deduplication reveals how many unique contacts you have across all providers and helps avoid paying for the same contact in multiple tools.
Verify addresses
Lusha provides business email addresses that are generally current. However, people change jobs, and addresses can become invalid. Running the extracted list through a verification service before outreach ensures current accuracy. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, companies, titles, phone numbers, LinkedIn URLs and other enriched data from the Lusha export are not carried over.
Credit system
Lusha uses a credit system. Revealing a contact's details (email and/or phone) consumes credits. Once revealed, contacts are saved to your account and can be exported without additional credits.
Browser extension
Lusha's browser extension works on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Recruiter, company websites and other sites. It reveals email and phone for the profile you are viewing.
Data accuracy
Lusha maintains its data accuracy through a combination of public sources, partnerships and community-contributed data. Data accuracy varies by region and industry.
Personal vs business emails
Lusha primarily provides business email addresses. Some contacts may also have personal email addresses listed. Email Extractor captures all email addresses found in the export regardless of type.
CRM enrichment
Lusha can enrich existing CRM records with contact data. This adds email and phone to records that are missing them.
Compliance
Lusha complies with GDPR and CCPA. It provides opt-out mechanisms for individuals who do not want their data shared.
