How to Extract Emails from Salesloft Contacts
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Salesloft?
Salesloft is a sales engagement platform used by B2B sales teams for multi-channel outreach, cadence automation, conversation intelligence, deal management and forecasting. It competes with Outreach as one of the two dominant enterprise sales engagement platforms. Sales development representatives, account executives and revenue teams use Salesloft to manage their prospect outreach at scale.
Salesloft stores people (prospects) that have been added to cadences, imported or synced from a CRM. Extracting email addresses from Salesloft data is useful for consolidating contacts across platforms, migrating to a different tool, deduplicating against other prospect sources, running compliance audits or creating a backup.

Exporting people
- Log in to Salesloft.
- Go to People.
- Apply filters to select the contacts you want (by cadence, owner, tags, stage or custom fields).

- Export the people enrolled in that cadence.
Admin exports
Salesloft admins can perform bulk exports of people, accounts and activity data.

Working with the Results
Deduplicate across tools
If your organisation uses Salesloft alongside LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io or other tools, upload all exports together. Deduplication reveals the total unique prospects across your entire tech stack.
Migration
If you are switching from Salesloft to Outreach, Reply.io or another platform, the extracted email list provides a clean starting point. Sequence and engagement data will need to be migrated separately.
CRM reconciliation
Compare the extracted Salesloft list against your CRM contacts. Discrepancies may indicate prospects that were added to Salesloft but not synced to the CRM, or vice versa.
Verify addresses
Prospect email addresses can become invalid over time as people change roles or companies. Running the extracted list through a verification service before starting new cadences reduces bounces and protects sender reputation. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, titles, companies, phone numbers, cadence data, engagement history, tags, custom fields and owner information from the Salesloft export are not carried over.
CRM integration
Salesloft integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot and other CRMs. People in Salesloft are often synced bi-directionally with CRM contacts or leads. If sync is active, the same contacts exist in both systems.
Cadences
Salesloft cadences are structured multi-step outreach workflows (email, phone, social, other steps). People are enrolled in cadences and progress through steps. Cadence data is valuable for sales analytics but is not included in email-only extraction.
Conversation intelligence
Salesloft records and analyses sales calls and meetings. This conversation data is separate from the people/contacts data.
Rhythm
Salesloft's Rhythm feature uses AI to prioritise actions for sales reps. This is an in-app workflow feature that does not affect data exports.
Teams and permissions
Salesloft supports team structures where different users manage their own people and cadences. Admins can access data across the organisation. Export permissions may be controlled by admin settings.
Accounts and people
Salesloft organises data into accounts (companies) and people (individuals at those companies). People are the records that contain email addresses.
