How to Extract Emails from Mixmax Contacts

On this page

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.

Why Extract from Mixmax?

Mixmax is a sales engagement platform that works inside Gmail. It provides email sequences, email tracking, calendar scheduling (one-click meetings), polls and surveys, CRM integration, templates and workflow automation. Mixmax is popular among sales teams, recruiters and customer success managers who work primarily in Gmail.

Mixmax stores contacts that have been added to sequences, tracked or scheduled. Extracting email addresses from Mixmax data is useful for consolidating contacts across tools, importing into a CRM, deduplicating against other outreach platforms or creating a clean list for a new campaign.

How to Export from Mixmax

Exporting from sequences

  1. Log in to Mixmax.
  2. Go to Sequences.
  3. Open the sequence whose recipients you want to export.
  4. Export the recipients as a CSV file.
  5. The CSV includes email, name, company, sequence status and engagement data.

Exporting contacts

  1. Go to the contacts or people section.
  2. Select the contacts you want to export.
  3. Download as CSV.

Exporting from reports

Mixmax reporting features include data on email activity, sequence performance and team metrics. Reports that include recipient data can be exported.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

  1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  2. Select "Text and files."
  3. Upload the CSV file(s) exported from Mixmax. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  4. Click "Extract emails."
  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Working with the Results

Import into a CRM

The extracted list can be imported into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another CRM. Mixmax integrates with Salesforce for activity logging, but the extracted list is useful for CRMs without integration.

Deduplicate across sequences

If you run multiple sequences in Mixmax for different campaigns or segments, upload all exports together. Deduplication ensures you are not contacting the same person from multiple sequences.

Consolidate with other tools

If your team uses Mixmax alongside other tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo.io), upload all exports together to see your total unique prospect pool.

Verify addresses

Email addresses change over time. Running the extracted list through a verification service before a new sequence reduces bounces. See Best email verification services.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, companies, sequence data, tracking data (opens, clicks, replies), meeting schedules and custom fields from the Mixmax export are not carried over.

Gmail-native

Mixmax operates inside Gmail as a browser extension. Emails are sent from your Gmail account. Mixmax adds sequences, tracking and productivity features on top of the standard Gmail experience.

Sequences

Mixmax sequences are automated multi-step email campaigns with personalised follow-ups. Recipients are enrolled and progress through steps. Sequence data is included in exports but not preserved by Email Extractor.

Email tracking

Mixmax tracks email opens, link clicks and attachment views. This tracking data helps prioritise follow-ups but is not included in email-only extraction.

Meeting scheduling

Mixmax includes one-click meeting scheduling that can be embedded in emails. Meeting data is separate from contact exports.

Polls and surveys

Mixmax allows embedding polls and surveys directly in emails. Response data is stored in Mixmax but is separate from contact data.

Salesforce integration

Mixmax logs email activity to Salesforce and can sync contacts. If integration is active, contact data may already be in Salesforce.

Workflow rules

Mixmax workflow rules automate actions based on triggers (email opened, link clicked, reply received). These are in-app automation features that do not affect exports.
