How to Extract Emails from Whop Customers
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Whop?
Whop is a platform for selling digital products, memberships, software, communities, courses and other digital goods. It provides storefronts, checkout pages, access management, affiliate programs, analytics and customer management. Whop is used by creators, developers, community operators and digital entrepreneurs.
Extracting email addresses from Whop customer data is useful for importing into an email marketing platform, building segmented lists by product, migrating to another platform, consolidating customers across sales channels or creating a backup.

Working with the Results
Import into an email marketing platform
Whop handles sales and access but does not include email marketing features. Import the extracted list into Kit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or another platform for product updates, launch announcements and customer engagement.
Segment by product
Export customers by product and extract each separately. This lets you send targeted communications to buyers of specific products.
Consolidate across platforms
If you sell on multiple platforms (Whop, Gumroad, SamCart, Shopify), export from each and upload together. Deduplication shows your total unique email-address count.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Verify addresses
Customer email addresses provided during checkout are usually valid because order confirmations are sent to them. Verification is still recommended for older records. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, products, purchase dates, amounts and other customer data are not carried over.
Active vs expired memberships
Whop manages membership access. Exports may include both active members and those whose memberships have expired. Filter before exporting if needed.
Refunded customers
The export may include customers who received refunds. Review the export scope before downloading.
Free vs paid products
If you offer both free and paid products on Whop, exports may include both types of customers.
