How to Extract Emails from Drip Reports

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs.

Why Extract from Drip Reports?

Drip provides reports on email campaigns, automation workflows, broadcasts and revenue attribution. Reports track opens, clicks, conversions, bounces and unsubscribes at the subscriber level.

While the general Drip export is covered in Extract Emails from Drip Export and automation data in Extract Emails from Drip Automations, this article focuses on report-specific exports for engagement-based lists.

How to Export from Drip

Exporting broadcast activity

  1. Log in to Drip.
  2. Go to Broadcasts then select a sent broadcast.
  3. View the report showing opens, clicks and unsubscribes.
  4. Click on a metric to see the subscriber list.
  5. Export as CSV.

Exporting workflow reports

  1. Go to Workflows.
  2. Select a workflow.
  3. View performance data for each step.
  4. Export subscriber activity for specific steps.

Using segments based on engagement

  1. Go to People then Segments.
  2. Create a segment based on email engagement (e.
  3. Export the segment as CSV.

Using the Drip API

  1. Use the Subscribers endpoint with tags or segment filters.
  2. Each subscriber includes the email address.
  3. Save results as JSON.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

  1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  2. Select "Text and files."
  3. Upload the CSV file from Drip. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  4. Click "Extract emails."
  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Extract emails from subscribers who converted through specific workflows. Import into a CRM for relationship tracking.

Re-engagement campaigns

Extract emails from subscribers who have not engaged recently. Use for win-back campaigns through external channels.

Revenue-linked contacts

Verify addresses

Recorded opens and clicks do not confirm a human reader or a currently reachable mailbox. Security scanners can generate clicks, and privacy features can generate opens; compare activity with replies or conversions before interpreting engagement. Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, custom fields, engagement scores, revenue data and other Drip fields are not carried over.
