How to Extract Emails from Kajabi Contacts

Why Extract from Kajabi?
Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for knowledge entrepreneurs that combines online courses, coaching programmes, membership sites, communities, podcasts, email marketing, landing pages, sales funnels and a website builder. It is used by course creators, coaches, authors and experts to sell digital products and manage their online businesses.
Kajabi stores contacts (subscribers, students, members and customers) in its People section. Extracting email addresses from Kajabi contacts is useful for migrating to another platform, importing into a separate CRM, consolidating contacts from multiple tools, verifying addresses or creating a backup.
How to Export from Kajabi
- Log in to Kajabi.
- Go to People (or Contacts).
- Apply any filters if you want to export a subset (by tag, product, offer or segment).
- Click Export to download your contacts as a CSV file.
- The CSV includes email, name, tags, products owned, subscription status and other fields.
Exporting specific groups
Kajabi lets you filter contacts by tags, products, offers and segments. Filter before exporting to get a targeted list (e.g., only students from a specific course, or only subscribers who have not purchased).
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file exported from Kajabi. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Migrate to another platform
If you are moving from Kajabi to a different course platform, CRM or email marketing tool, the extracted email list is the starting point.
Import into a CRM
The extracted list can be imported into HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM for pipeline and relationship management beyond what Kajabi provides.
Import into a separate email platform
While Kajabi includes email marketing, some creators prefer a dedicated platform (ActiveCampaign, Kit, Mailchimp) for more advanced automations. The extracted list can be imported into those platforms.
Consolidate contacts
If you use Kajabi alongside other tools (a webinar platform, a separate landing page builder, a community platform), upload all exports together. Deduplication shows your total unique email-address count.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Verify addresses
If your Kajabi account has been active for a long time, some contact email addresses may be outdated. Verification before outreach or migration is recommended. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, product ownership, subscription status and purchase history from the Kajabi export are not carried over.
People section
Kajabi's People section contains everyone who has interacted with your business: subscribers, students, members and customers. The export includes all of them unless you filter first.
Built-in email marketing
Kajabi includes email marketing with broadcasts, sequences and automations. If you are extracting to use a separate email platform, be careful not to email the same contacts from both Kajabi and the other platform simultaneously.
Tags and segments
Kajabi uses tags to organise contacts and segments to create dynamic groups based on criteria. Use these to filter before export.
Products and offers
Kajabi contacts can own multiple products (courses, memberships, coaching programmes). The export may include product ownership data, which Email Extractor does not carry over.
Community
Kajabi includes a community feature. Community members are stored as contacts and appear in the export.
Pricing
Kajabi is a premium platform with higher pricing than many alternatives. The export capabilities are available on all plans.
