Extracting email addresses from Systeme.io contacts is useful for migrating to another platform, consolidating contacts from multiple tools, verifying addresses or creating a backup of your contact list.
How to Export from Systeme.io
- Log in to Systeme.io.
- Go to Contacts.
- Apply any filters if you want to export a subset (by tag, funnel, date or status).
- Click Export to download your contacts as a CSV file.
- The CSV includes email, name, tags, creation date and other contact fields.
Filtering before export
Systeme.io allows filtering contacts by tags, which can represent the funnel, product or campaign that captured the contact. Filter by tag before exporting to get contacts from a specific source.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file exported from Systeme.io. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Migrate to another platform
If you are moving from Systeme.io to a different email marketing platform or CRM, the extracted email list serves as the starting point for migration.
Import into a CRM
The extracted list can be imported into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another CRM for sales pipeline management.
Consolidate contacts
If you use Systeme.io alongside other tools (a separate email platform, a course platform, a CRM), upload all exports together. Deduplication shows your total unique email-address count.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Verify addresses

Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, purchase history, course enrolment status and other fields from the Systeme.io export are not carried over.
All-in-one nature
Systeme.io combines email marketing, funnels, courses and more in one platform. Contacts may have come from any of these features. The export includes all contacts regardless of how they were captured.
Tags
Systeme.io uses tags to organise contacts. Tags indicate the source, interest or status of each contact. Filtering by tag before export lets you create targeted lists.
Built-in email marketing
Systeme.io includes email marketing capabilities (campaigns, automations, newsletters). If you are extracting to import into a separate email platform, keep in mind that sending to the same contacts from two platforms can cause confusion and compliance issues.
Free plan
Systeme.io offers a free plan with limited contacts and features. The free plan includes contact export capabilities.
Course students and members
Students enrolled in Systeme.io courses and members of membership sites are stored as contacts. Their email addresses are included in the contact export.
