How to Extract Emails from Leadpages Leads
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Leadpages?
Leadpages is a landing page and website builder designed for lead generation. It provides drag-and-drop landing pages, pop-ups, alert bars and opt-in forms that capture visitor information. When visitors submit forms on Leadpages pages, their data is stored as leads. Leadpages integrates with email marketing platforms, CRMs and other tools, but also maintains its own lead database called Leadmeter or the Leads section.
Extracting email addresses from Leadpages lead data is useful in several scenarios.
Consolidating leads across pages. If you run multiple Leadpages landing pages for different campaigns, products, webinars or lead magnets, extracting from each and deduplicating reveals your total unique lead count.
Backing up lead data. Even if integrations push leads to your email platform or CRM, having a separate extracted email list provides an independent backup. Integrations can fail silently, and some leads may not have been synced.
Migrating to another platform. When switching from Leadpages to Unbounce, Instapage, Carrd or another landing page builder, extracting your lead email addresses ensures no contacts are lost.
Cross-referencing with your email platform. Comparing extracted Leadpages leads with your Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or other email platform export shows whether all landing page leads were successfully added as subscribers.
Auditing lead quality. Extracting and verifying lead email addresses reveals how many are valid and deliverable, which helps evaluate landing page performance beyond raw conversion numbers.
How to Export from Leadpages
Leadpages allows you to export leads.
Exporting leads
- Log in to Leadpages.
- Go to the Leads section (found in the navigation or dashboard).
- Select the landing page, pop-up or alert bar whose leads you want to export, or view all leads.
- Click Export (or Download CSV).
- Leadpages generates a CSV file containing the lead data.
- Download the file.
Export fields
Leadpages lead exports typically include: email address, first name (if collected), last name (if collected), other form fields, opt-in date, the page or form that captured the lead, and any tags or labels applied. The exact columns depend on which fields your forms collect.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file (or multiple CSV files from different landing pages). Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically, so a lead who submitted forms on multiple pages appears once.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources to see which landing page export each address came from.
Working with the Results
Compare with your email platform
Export subscribers from your email marketing platform (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite, etc.), extract, and compare with the Leadpages lead list. Addresses in Leadpages but missing from your email platform may indicate integration failures or leads that were captured after the integration broke.
Combine with other lead sources
If you collect leads through Leadpages, your website's native forms, social media ads and other channels, extract from each source and deduplicate. This gives you a complete picture of your lead database.
Verify lead quality
Landing pages can attract spam bots and fake submissions. Running the extracted list through a verification service identifies invalid addresses. This helps you evaluate the true quality of your landing page conversions. See Best email verification services.
Import into a CRM
If leads should be in your CRM but are not (perhaps the integration was not set up), the extracted list can be imported into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or any CRM that accepts CSV imports.
Measure page performance
By extracting from individual landing page exports, you can compare unique lead counts across pages. This complements Leadpages' built-in analytics with an independent count.
Things to Know
Column headers are not extracted
CSV column headers from Leadpages exports are text labels, not email addresses, so they do not appear in the extracted results.
Lead data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, phone numbers, custom field responses, opt-in dates, page names and tags from the Leadpages export are not carried over.
Integration-driven leads
Many Leadpages users rely on integrations to push leads directly to their email platform or CRM. In that workflow, leads may never be manually exported from Leadpages. The value of extraction is in verification, backup and consolidation rather than as the primary way to move leads.
Pop-up and alert bar leads
Leadpages pop-ups and alert bars capture leads just like landing pages. These leads appear in the same Leads section and are included in exports.
Duplicate leads across pages
A visitor who submits forms on multiple Leadpages pages creates multiple lead records. The export includes all of them. Email Extractor deduplicates automatically.
Historical data
Leadpages stores leads for as long as your account is active. Old leads may have outdated email addresses. Verification is especially important for historical data.
Leadpages plans
The availability of lead export features may depend on your Leadpages plan. Check your plan's features if the export option is not visible.
