How to Extract Emails from ClickFunnels Contacts

Why Extract from ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels is a sales funnel builder that creates multi-step landing pages, opt-in pages, sales pages, order forms, upsell pages, webinar registration pages and membership sites. It is widely used by entrepreneurs, course creators, coaches, agencies and ecommerce businesses to build conversion-focused sales funnels.
Every opt-in step in a ClickFunnels funnel collects email addresses (and often names, phone numbers and other data). These contacts are stored in the ClickFunnels contact database. Extracting email addresses from ClickFunnels contacts is useful for importing into a separate CRM, moving to an email marketing platform, consolidating with contacts from other sources, or verifying the list.
How to Export from ClickFunnels
ClickFunnels 2.0
- Log in to ClickFunnels.
- Go to Contacts.
- Apply any filters if you want to export a subset (by funnel, tag, date range or status).
- Click Export to download contacts as a CSV file.
- The CSV includes email, name, phone, tags, contact creation date and other fields.
Exporting from a specific funnel
If you only want contacts from a specific funnel or opt-in page, filter the contacts by the relevant funnel or tag before exporting.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file exported from ClickFunnels. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Import into an email marketing platform
ClickFunnels has built-in email capabilities, but many users prefer dedicated email platforms (ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Kit) for advanced automation and deliverability. The extracted list can be imported into any email marketing platform.
Import into a CRM
Import the extracted emails into HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM to create contact records for your funnel leads.
Combine funnel leads with other sources
If you collect leads from multiple channels (ClickFunnels for sales funnels, Typeform for surveys, your website contact form), upload all exports together. Deduplication shows your total unique lead count across all sources.
Verify addresses
Funnel opt-in forms can attract spam submissions, especially on high-traffic paid campaigns. Running the extracted list through a verification service before outreach is recommended. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, phone numbers, tags, funnel source and other fields from the ClickFunnels export are not carried over.
Contacts vs purchases
ClickFunnels stores both opt-in contacts and paying customers. The export may include both. If you need to separate them, filter within ClickFunnels by tag or status before exporting.
Built-in email
ClickFunnels includes built-in email sending capabilities. If you are already using ClickFunnels' email features, you may not need to extract for import elsewhere. Extraction is still useful for consolidation, verification and backup.
Tags
ClickFunnels uses tags to organise contacts. Tags can indicate which funnel, product or campaign a contact came from. Filter by tag before exporting to get contacts from a specific source.
Integrations
ClickFunnels integrates with email platforms, CRMs, payment processors and other tools. If integrations are already sending contacts to your other tools, extraction provides a manual verification and consolidation option.
Multiple funnels
If you run multiple funnels, each one collects contacts into the same contact database. Exporting all contacts gives you every lead across all funnels. Use tags or filters to separate them by source.
Membership sites
ClickFunnels supports membership sites. Members have email addresses stored in the system. These can be included in the contact export.
