Best Landing Page Builders for Email Lead Capture

Why Landing Page Builders Capture Emails

Landing pages are single-purpose web pages designed to convert visitors into leads. The most common conversion action on a landing page is submitting an email address through a form. Whether the page promotes a webinar, a free download, a product trial or a consultation, the email address is typically the primary piece of data collected.

Landing page builders store these leads in their own dashboards or send them to connected CRMs and email platforms. Extracting email addresses from landing page leads lets you consolidate contacts across campaigns, audit your lead data, import into other tools or create a master list.

Unbounce

Unbounce is one of the original landing page builders, designed for marketers running paid advertising campaigns. It offers a drag-and-drop builder, A/B testing, dynamic text replacement (matching landing page text to ad copy), pop-ups, sticky bars and AI-powered features including Smart Traffic (which routes visitors to the variant most likely to convert).

How to extract: Export leads from the Unbounce dashboard as CSV, then upload to Email Extractor. See Extract emails from Unbounce leads.

How to Extract from Any Landing Page Builder

The general process is the same:

  1. Export or download the leads as CSV or Excel from the landing page builder's dashboard.
  2. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  3. Select "Text and files."
  4. Upload the file (or multiple files from different builders or campaigns). Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  5. Click "Extract emails."
  6. Review the results. Duplicates across all uploaded files are removed automatically.
  7. Download as TXT, CSV, or CSV with sources.

Combining Leads Across Campaigns

If you run landing pages across multiple builders or have separate pages for different campaigns, extract from all of them at once. Upload all exported lead files together to Email Extractor. Deduplication creates a combined list of unique email addresses. Download CSV with sources and compare the source names to find addresses shared by the exports. Use the original records for person matching or status checks; the comparison only establishes that the same email string appears in multiple sources.

Landing Page Leads vs Other Email Sources

Landing page leads are typically high-intent contacts. They arrived through a specific campaign, read a specific offer and chose to submit their email address. This makes them valuable compared to email addresses extracted from older files or bulk data. However, the quality depends on the traffic source.

Leads from paid advertising campaigns may include more form spam or low-quality submissions than leads from organic search or referrals. Review the extracted list and consider verification before importing into your CRM or email platform.

Choosing a Landing Page Builder

When choosing a landing page builder for email lead capture, consider:

Integration. Does the builder integrate with your CRM or email marketing platform? Direct integrations reduce manual steps but do not eliminate the need for extraction when consolidating data.

Lead storage. How long does the builder store leads? Some builders store leads indefinitely; others may have retention limits on lower-tier plans.

Export options. Can you export leads as CSV? This is essential for extraction.

Form customisation. Can you add custom fields beyond email? Additional fields (name, company, phone) enrich your lead data.

A/B testing. Does the builder support testing different page variants? This helps optimise conversion rates and lead quality.

Pricing. Costs vary significantly. Carrd starts at a few dollars per month, while Unbounce and Instapage are priced for professional marketing teams.
