How to Extract Emails from Filtered Notion Databases

Why Extract from Filtered Notion Databases?
Notion databases support views with filters, sorts and grouping. Filtered views let you focus on specific record subsets: contacts by status, leads by source, clients by project, or team members by role.
While general Notion exports are covered in Extract Emails from Notion Databases, this article focuses on exporting filtered views for targeted email lists.
How to Export from Notion
Exporting a filtered view
- Open a Notion database.
- Create or select a view with filters (e.
- Click the ... menu in the top right.
- Click Export and choose CSV.
- The export includes only the records visible in that view.
Creating filtered views
- Open a database.
- Click + Add a view or click the view name to add filters.
- Add filter conditions based on properties (status, date, select, multi-select, checkbox, email, person).
- Add sorts to organize the data.
- Hide irrelevant columns.
- Export as CSV.
Using the Notion API
- Use the Query a Database endpoint (
/v1/databases/{id}/query). - Add filter objects matching your view criteria.
- Each page includes the email property.
- Save results as JSON.
Exporting full workspace
- Go to Settings & Members then Settings.
- Click Export all workspace content.
- The export includes all databases as CSV files.
- Open the relevant CSV and filter manually.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file from Notion. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, statuses, tags, relations and other Notion properties are not carried over.
Email property types
Notion databases can store emails in Email properties, Text properties or People properties (which reference workspace members). Exports include all property values as text.
