How to Extract Emails from Razorpay Customers
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Razorpay?
Razorpay is a payment gateway and financial platform widely used in India and other markets. It provides payment processing, payment links, subscriptions, invoicing, payroll, banking and business management tools. Razorpay collects customer email addresses during payment, subscription and invoice flows.
Extracting email addresses from Razorpay customer data is useful for importing into a CRM or email marketing platform, building a customer mailing list, consolidating customer data across payment platforms, migrating to another tool or creating a backup.

Working with the Results
Import into an email marketing platform
Razorpay processes payments but does not send marketing emails. Import the extracted list into Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, Sendinblue (Brevo) or another platform for customer communications.
Import into a CRM
Import customer emails into Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM for relationship management and follow-up.
Consolidate across payment platforms
If you use multiple payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal), export from each and upload together. Deduplication shows your total unique email-address count.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Verify addresses
Customer email addresses provided during payment are usually valid because receipts are sent to them. Older records may be outdated. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, phone numbers, payment amounts, dates, statuses and other data are not carried over.
Refunded and failed payments
The export may include payments that were refunded or failed. Filter by status (captured, refunded, failed) before exporting if you want only successful transactions.
International payments
Razorpay supports international payments. The export may include customer emails from multiple countries.
Test mode transactions
Make sure you export from live mode, not test mode. Test transactions use test data.
Compliance
Customer data collected through payment processing is subject to data protection regulations. Check applicable laws before using payment data for marketing.
