How to Extract Emails from RocketReach Contacts

Why Extract from RocketReach?
RocketReach is a B2B contact data platform that provides email addresses, phone numbers and social media profiles for professionals. It offers a web app with search, a browser extension, bulk lookups, company search, an API and CRM integrations. Sales teams, recruiters, marketers and researchers use RocketReach to find contact information for outreach.
RocketReach stores contacts that you have looked up or saved. Extracting email addresses from RocketReach data is useful for importing into a CRM, consolidating with data from other providers, deduplicating against other tools, verifying addresses or creating a clean prospect list.
How to Export from RocketReach
Exporting saved contacts
- Log in to RocketReach.
- Go to your saved contacts or lists.
- Select the contacts you want to export.
- Click Export to download as a CSV file.
- The CSV includes email (personal and professional), name, title, company, phone, social profiles and other fields.
Exporting search results
- Search for contacts using filters (name, company, title, location, industry).
- Save the results or export directly.
Bulk lookup results
If you uploaded a list of names and companies for bulk lookup, download the enriched results as CSV.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file(s) exported from RocketReach. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Import into a CRM
The extracted list can be imported into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another CRM.
Deduplicate across data providers
If you use multiple contact data services (RocketReach, Lusha, ZoomInfo, Hunter.io, Apollo.io), upload all exports together. Deduplication creates a combined list of unique email addresses. Download CSV with sources and compare the source names to find addresses shared by the exports. Use the original records for person matching or status checks; the comparison only establishes that the same email string appears in multiple sources.
Separate personal and professional emails
RocketReach may provide both personal and professional email addresses for a contact. Email Extractor captures all addresses found. If you need only professional addresses, filter the CSV in RocketReach before export.
Verify addresses
Contact data accuracy varies. Running the extracted list through a verification service before outreach ensures addresses are currently valid. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, titles, companies, phone numbers, social media profiles and other data from the RocketReach export are not carried over.
Multiple email addresses
RocketReach often provides multiple email addresses for a contact (professional and personal). All email addresses in the export file are captured by Email Extractor.
Credit system
RocketReach uses credits for looking up contact details. Once looked up, contacts can be exported without additional credits.
Browser extension
RocketReach's browser extension finds contact information while browsing LinkedIn, company websites and other sites.
Bulk lookups
RocketReach supports bulk lookups where you upload a list of names and companies and receive enriched contact data in return.
Company search
RocketReach provides company-level data including employee counts, industry, revenue and technology used. Company searches help identify target accounts.
API access
RocketReach offers an API for programmatic access. API results can be downloaded and processed like manual exports.
