How to Extract Emails from Skool Members
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Skool?
Skool is a community platform that combines online courses and group discussions in one place. It provides community feeds, classroom (courses), calendar, leaderboards, gamification and member management. Skool is popular with coaches, course creators, educators and membership-based businesses.
Extracting email addresses from Skool member data is useful for importing into an email marketing platform, creating backup lists, migrating to another platform, building segmented lists or consolidating members across multiple Skool groups.
How to Export from Skool
Exporting members
- Log in to Skool as a group admin.
- Go to your group's Members section.
- Click Export or Download to get a CSV file of members.
- The CSV includes email, name, join date, level and other member data.
Member data availability
Skool provides member email addresses to group admins. The export includes all current members of the group.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file exported from Skool. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Import into an email marketing platform
Skool does not include built-in email marketing features like sequences and broadcasts. Import the extracted list into Kit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or another platform for newsletters, announcements and course updates.
Segment by group
If you run multiple Skool groups (free and paid, or by topic), export each group separately. Upload together to see total unique members, or keep them separate for targeted messaging.
Back up your community
Export member emails regularly as a backup. If you move to a different platform, you have a list to invite members.
Verify addresses
Members may have signed up with temporary or unused email addresses. Verification before campaigns is recommended. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, levels, join dates, activity scores and other Skool fields are not carried over.
Free vs paid groups
Skool supports both free and paid communities. Member exports work the same way for both.
Removed and left members
Depending on the export, members who left the group or were removed may not appear. The export typically reflects current members.
Member consent
Members joined your Skool group voluntarily, but using their email for purposes beyond group communication may require additional consent depending on your jurisdiction and terms of service.
Multiple groups
Skool does not have a built-in way to export members across all groups at once. Export from each group individually.
