How to Extract Emails from Stripe Invoices

Why Extract from Stripe Invoices?

Stripe is a payment processing platform that handles invoices for subscriptions, one-time charges and recurring billing. Invoice data includes customer email addresses, invoice amounts, dates, payment status and line item details.

How to Export from Stripe

Exporting invoices

  1. Log in to the Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Go to Billing then Invoices.
  3. Use filters to narrow by status (paid, open, uncollectible, void), date range, customer or subscription.
  4. Click Export to download as CSV.

Exporting customers from invoices

  1. Go to Customers.
  2. Filter by invoice-related criteria (e.
  3. Export as CSV.

Using the Stripe API

  1. Use the /v1/invoices endpoint with filters for status, date range or customer.
  2. Each invoice includes the customer email address.
  3. Save results as CSV or JSON.

Using Stripe Sigma (SQL)

  1. If you have Stripe Sigma, write a SQL query to join invoices with customer data.
  2. Filter by invoice status, amount or date.
  3. Export the query results.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

  1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  2. Select "Text and files."
  3. Upload the CSV file from Stripe. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  4. Click "Extract emails."
  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, invoice amounts, payment status, line items and other Stripe fields are not carried over.
