How to Extract Emails from Tidio Conversations

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.

Why Extract from Tidio Conversations?

Tidio is a customer communication platform with live chat, chatbot and email features. Conversations in Tidio capture visitor email addresses when they provide them through pre-chat forms, chatbot flows or email exchanges.

While the general Tidio contact export is covered in Extract Emails from Tidio Contacts, this article focuses on conversation-level data, which provides context about how and when visitors engaged.

How to Export from Tidio

Exporting contacts

1. Log in to Tidio.
2. Go to Contacts.
3. Use filters to narrow by tag, segment, last seen date or other criteria.
4. Click Export to download as CSV.

Using tags

1. Apply tags to conversations in Tidio (e.
2. Go to Contacts and filter by the relevant tag.
3. Export the filtered contacts as CSV.

Using the Tidio API

1. Use the contacts API endpoint to retrieve contacts.
2. Filter by tags or properties.
3. Save results as JSON.

Using integrations

Tidio integrates with HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Zapier and other tools. If configured, conversation data and contact emails flow to connected platforms. Export from there.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
2. Select "Text and files."
3. Upload the CSV or JSON file from Tidio. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
4. Click "Extract emails."
5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Conversation participants who provided their email are warm leads. Import into a CRM or email marketing platform for follow-up sequences.

Segment by conversation tag

Export contacts tagged by conversation type (sales, support, pricing). Extract emails from each for targeted campaigns.

Pre-chat form contacts

Tidio pre-chat forms collect email addresses before the conversation starts. These contacts have provided their email willingly and are suitable for follow-up.

Import into CRM

Add Tidio conversation contacts to HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM for relationship tracking.

Verify addresses

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, conversation transcripts, page URLs and other Tidio fields are not carried over.

Not all visitors provide emails

Only visitors who provide their email are captured. Anonymous visitors who do not share their email are not in the export.

One contact, many conversations

A visitor may have multiple conversations. Email Extractor deduplicates automatically.

Team member emails

Conversation exports may include team member email addresses alongside visitor emails.
