How to Extract Emails from WooCommerce Subscriptions

Why Extract from WooCommerce Subscriptions?
WooCommerce Subscriptions is an extension for WordPress and WooCommerce that manages recurring payments. Subscription data includes customer email addresses, subscription status, product, billing period, start and end dates and payment method.
While general WooCommerce customer exports are covered in Extract Emails from WooCommerce Customers, this article focuses on subscription-specific exports for targeting recurring customers.
How to Export from WooCommerce
Exporting subscriptions
- Log in to your WordPress admin.
- Go to WooCommerce then Subscriptions.
- Use filters to narrow by status (active, on hold, canceled, expired, pending cancellation), product or date range.
- Click Export to download as CSV.
- The export includes customer email addresses.
Using WooCommerce built-in export
- Go to WooCommerce then Reports or Analytics.
- Filter by subscription-related data.
- Export as CSV.
Using export plugins
- Install an export plugin (e.
- Select subscriptions as the export type.
- Choose fields to include (customer email, subscription status, product, dates).
- Export as CSV.
Using the WooCommerce REST API
- Use the
/wp-json/wc/v3/subscriptionsendpoint. - Filter by status or product.
- Each subscription includes the customer's billing email.
- Save results as JSON.
Exporting from the database
- Use phpMyAdmin or WP-CLI.
- Query the subscription post type with customer meta data.
- Export as CSV.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file from WooCommerce. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, subscription status, products, billing periods and other WooCommerce fields are not carried over.
One customer, multiple subscriptions
A customer may have multiple subscriptions. Email Extractor deduplicates automatically.
WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin required
The subscription export features require the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension. Standard WooCommerce does not have subscription management.
