How to Extract Emails from Brevo Automations

On this page

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.

Why Extract from Brevo Automations?

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) is a marketing platform that includes email, SMS, chat, CRM and automation features. Its automation workflows trigger based on contact behavior: form submissions, page visits, email opens, purchase events, date-based triggers and more. Contacts move through these workflows receiving emails, being added to lists, having attributes updated and getting tagged.

Extracting email addresses from Brevo automation data is useful for auditing which contacts went through a specific workflow, building follow-up segments, sharing data with teams outside Brevo or comparing workflow performance.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, lists, attributes, SMS numbers and other Brevo data are not carried over.

Lists vs. segments

Brevo uses lists (static groups) and segments (dynamic filters). Automations typically add contacts to lists. Export the list the automation populates.

Multiple automations

A contact can be in multiple automations simultaneously. They appear once in the extracted list after deduplication.

Transactional vs. marketing contacts

Brevo separates transactional and marketing contacts. Make sure you export from the right category.
