How to Extract Emails from GetResponse Automations

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from GetResponse Automations?
GetResponse is an email marketing platform with a visual automation builder. Its workflows trigger based on subscriber behavior: signups, link clicks, purchases, tag additions, scoring changes and more. Subscribers move through these workflows automatically, receiving emails, getting tagged and having custom fields updated.
Extracting email addresses from GetResponse automation data is useful for auditing which subscribers went through a specific workflow, building follow-up segments, sharing data with teams outside GetResponse or analyzing workflow performance.
While the general GetResponse export is covered in Extract Emails from GetResponse Export, this article focuses on automation-specific data.

Re-engage dropped subscribers
Extract subscribers who entered a workflow but did not complete it. Use the list for alternative outreach.
Share with sales teams
Export subscribers from sales-related automations to share with team members who do not have GetResponse access.

Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, tags, custom fields, scoring and other GetResponse data are not carried over.
Active vs. completed subscribers
GetResponse shows subscribers currently in a workflow and those who have completed it. Make sure you export the right group.
Multiple workflows
A subscriber can be in multiple workflows simultaneously. They appear once in the extracted list after deduplication.
