How to Extract Emails from Eventbrite Orders

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Eventbrite Orders?
Eventbrite is an event management and ticketing platform used for conferences, workshops, concerts, classes and community events. Every ticket order is placed by a buyer with an email address, and individual attendees may provide their own email addresses as well.
While the general Eventbrite attendee export is covered in Extract Emails from Eventbrite Attendees, this article focuses on order data specifically. Orders are useful when you want to identify who purchased tickets (the buyer) versus who attended (individual attendees, who may differ when someone buys multiple tickets).
How to Export from Eventbrite
Exporting orders
- Log in to Eventbrite.
- Go to Manage Events and select the event.
- Go to Orders.
- Click Export or Download to get a CSV.
- The CSV includes buyer email, name, order date, ticket type, quantity, total paid and order status.
Exporting attendees
- Go to Manage Events and select the event.
- Go to Attendees or Manage Attendees.
- Click Export to download a CSV.
- The CSV includes each attendee's email (not just the buyer).
Exporting across multiple events
- Use Eventbrite's reporting tools to pull data across events.
- Export from each event separately if cross-event reports are not available.
Filtering by ticket type
- In the orders or attendees view, filter by ticket type (VIP, General Admission, Early Bird).
- Export the filtered list.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file from Eventbrite. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Post-event follow-up
Import buyer and attendee emails into an email marketing platform for thank-you messages, surveys, photo/video sharing and next-event announcements.
Buyer vs. attendee segmentation
Buyers are the people who paid. Attendees are the people who attended (which may include guests added by the buyer). Both groups may warrant different communication.
Cross-event audience
Export orders from multiple events and upload together. Deduplication creates a combined list of unique email addresses. Download CSV with sources and compare the source names to find addresses shared by the exports. Source membership shows an address in an export; use the event records to distinguish registration from attendance and count repeat visits.
Import into CRM
Add event buyers to HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM to connect event engagement with sales data.
Verify addresses
Order emails are usually valid (used for ticket delivery). Attendee emails added by the buyer may contain typos. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, ticket types, order amounts, dates, statuses and other Eventbrite fields are not carried over.
Buyer vs. attendee emails
The buyer email is the person who placed the order. If the buyer purchased multiple tickets, additional attendees may have different email addresses entered during the checkout process or registration.
Refunded orders
Refunded or cancelled orders may still appear in the export. Filter by order status before exporting if you want only active orders.
Free events
Free events on Eventbrite still collect buyer email addresses during the "checkout" process.
