How to Extract Emails from Eventbrite Attendees
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Eventbrite?
Eventbrite is an event management and ticketing platform. Event organisers use it to create events, sell tickets, manage registrations, check in attendees, promote events and collect attendee data. Eventbrite handles events of all sizes, from small workshops and meetups to large conferences and festivals.
Eventbrite stores attendee data for everyone who has registered or purchased a ticket. Extracting email addresses from Eventbrite data is useful for post-event follow-up, building a mailing list from event attendees, importing into a marketing platform, consolidating attendee data across multiple events or creating a master attendee list.
How to Export from Eventbrite
Exporting attendees from a single event
- Log in to Eventbrite.
- Go to Manage Events and select the event.
- Go to Orders or Attendee Summary.
- Click Export and choose CSV.
- The CSV includes email, name, order number, ticket type, order date, custom question responses and other fields.
Exporting from multiple events
Repeat the export for each event. Upload all files together into Email Extractor for deduplication across events.
Exporting order data
Order reports include the buyer's email address (which may differ from the attendee email if someone bought tickets for others).
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file(s) exported from Eventbrite. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically, including across multiple event files.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources to see which event each email came from.
Working with the Results
Post-event email campaigns
Import the extracted list into a marketing platform (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Kit) to send post-event follow-ups, share recordings, surveys or information about upcoming events.
Build a master attendee list
If you run multiple events, upload all attendee exports together. Deduplication across files reveals the unique email strings across your attendee exports. Use original attendee and check-in records to measure repeat attendance.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Import into a CRM
Import the extracted list into your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) to create contact records for follow-up and relationship management.
Verify addresses
Attendee email addresses are generally reliable since they are used for ticket delivery. However, some may be temporary or disposable addresses. Verification before marketing campaigns is recommended. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, ticket types, order numbers, custom question responses and other fields from the Eventbrite export are not carried over.
Buyer vs attendee emails
When one person buys tickets for a group, the buyer's email is on the order and the attendees' emails may or may not be collected (depends on your event settings). Both may appear in exports.
Custom questions
Eventbrite allows event organisers to add custom registration questions. Responses are included in exports but not preserved by Email Extractor.
Eventbrite email marketing
Eventbrite includes basic email marketing features for promoting events to past attendees. For more advanced campaigns, import into a dedicated platform.
Privacy and consent
Attendees provide their email for event registration and ticket delivery. Using their email for marketing may require additional consent depending on your jurisdiction. See GDPR compliance guide.
Multiple ticket types
Events can have different ticket types (general admission, VIP, speaker, sponsor). The ticket type is included in exports but not preserved by Email Extractor.
