How to Extract Emails from LinkedIn Event Attendees
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from LinkedIn Events?
LinkedIn Events allow companies and professionals to host virtual and in-person events, attracting registrants from the LinkedIn network. Event organizers can access attendee information for follow-up. Extracting email addresses from LinkedIn event attendee data is useful for post-event follow-up, building mailing lists, importing into CRMs and consolidating event contacts.
How to Export from LinkedIn Events
From LinkedIn company page events
- Log in to LinkedIn as a page admin.
- Go to your company page.
- Navigate to Analytics then Event analytics (or go to the event directly).
- View the attendee list.
- Look for an Export attendees option to download attendee data as CSV.
- The export may include name, company, job title and email (if provided during registration).
From LinkedIn Event registration forms
- If your LinkedIn Event includes a registration form, registered attendees provide their details.
- Go to the event's attendee management area.
- Export registrant data as CSV.
- Registration forms may collect email addresses directly.
Limitations of LinkedIn event exports
LinkedIn does not always provide email addresses in event attendee exports. Whether emails are available depends on:
- Whether the event used a registration form that collected email.
- Whether attendees opted to share their contact information.
- The type of LinkedIn Event (company page event, personal event, LinkedIn Live).
Alternative: LinkedIn Ads Event form
If the event was promoted through LinkedIn Ads with a Lead Gen Form, attendee data (including email) is available in the LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Export from Campaign Manager then Assets then Lead Gen Forms.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file from LinkedIn. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Post-event follow-up
Import attendee emails into an email marketing platform for thank-you messages, resource sharing, recordings and next-event invitations.
Import into CRM
Add event contacts to HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM for relationship tracking and pipeline management.
Build event series lists
If you host recurring events, export attendees from each and upload together. Deduplication shows your total unique event audience.
Verify addresses
Event registration emails are usually valid. However, some attendees may use secondary or temporary addresses. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, job titles, companies and other attendee data are not carried over.
Email availability varies
Not all LinkedIn Event exports include email addresses. This depends on the event type, registration settings and attendee privacy choices.
LinkedIn connections vs. event attendees
This guide covers event attendees. For LinkedIn connections, see Extract Emails from LinkedIn Connections.
LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms
If the event was promoted with LinkedIn Ads and used Lead Gen Forms, attendee emails are available through Campaign Manager. This provides more reliable email data than standard event exports.
Consent
Event registrants shared their information for the event. Using their email for follow-up related to the event is generally acceptable. Adding them to unrelated marketing lists may require additional consent.
