How to Extract Emails from monday.com Boards

Why Extract from monday.com Boards?
monday.com is a work management platform that provides customisable boards, automations, dashboards, integrations, forms, docs and views for project management, CRM, marketing, sales and operations. Teams often store contact information in monday.com boards, using email columns, text columns or people columns.
Extracting email addresses from monday.com boards is useful for importing into a dedicated email marketing platform, consolidating contact data stored across multiple boards, building outreach lists from project records or creating a backup.
How to Export from monday.com
Exporting a board
- Open the board in monday.com.
- Click the three-dot menu (...) at the top right of the board.
- Select More actions then Export board to Excel.
- The download is an XLSX file containing all items, columns and values.
Exporting specific views
- Apply filters or create a view (filter by status, group, date, etc.).
- Export the filtered view.
Using integrations
monday.com integrates with Google Sheets and other tools. You can sync board data to a spreadsheet and export from there.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the XLSX file exported from monday.com. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Import into a CRM or marketing platform
monday.com is a work management tool, not an email marketing platform. Import the extracted list into HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or another platform for email campaigns.
Consolidate across boards
If contact data is spread across multiple boards (a sales pipeline board, a client management board, a leads board), export each and upload together. Deduplication shows your total unique email addresses.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Verify addresses
Email addresses in monday.com boards may be manually entered and could contain typos. Verification before outreach is recommended. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Item names, statuses, dates, assignees, notes and other column values from the monday.com export are not carried over.
Email column type
monday.com has a dedicated Email column type. Items with an email column will have that value in the export.
Text columns
Some boards store email addresses in regular text columns. These are still included in exports and will be found by Email Extractor.
People column
The People column assigns monday.com users to items. These are team member accounts, not external contacts. Their email addresses may appear in exports.

Forms
monday.com Forms collect responses that become items on a board. If a form includes an email field, responses are stored in the board and included in exports.
XLSX format
monday.com exports as XLSX (Excel). Email Extractor supports XLSX files directly.
