How to Extract Emails from Wix Contacts

Why Extract from Wix?
Wix is a website builder that provides drag-and-drop design, hosting, ecommerce, booking, forms, CRM (Wix Contacts), email marketing, automations and more. Every form submission, purchase, booking and site member registration adds a contact to Wix Contacts. Over time, this builds a database of everyone who has interacted with your Wix site.
Extracting email addresses from Wix contact data is useful for importing into an external email marketing platform, consolidating contacts from multiple Wix sites, migrating to another website platform, sharing contacts with teams or creating a backup.
How to Export from Wix
Exporting contacts
- Log in to Wix.
- Go to Contacts (in the dashboard sidebar).
- Filter contacts by label, source, date or other criteria.
- Click Export Contacts (or look for the export option in the contact list menu).
- Choose CSV format.
- Download the file.
- The CSV includes email, name, phone, labels, source and other contact fields.
Exporting from Wix CRM
- Go to CRM then Contacts.
- Apply filters if needed.
- Export as CSV.
Exporting form submissions
- Go to Forms (or Wix Forms in the dashboard).
- Select a specific form.
- Export submissions. Each submission includes the fields the visitor filled in.
Exporting from Wix Stores
- Go to Store then Customers.
- Export customer data as CSV.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file exported from Wix. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.
Working with the Results
Import into an email marketing platform
Wix includes basic email marketing (Wix Email Marketing), but you may prefer a dedicated platform with more advanced automation, segmentation and analytics. Import the extracted list into Mailchimp, Kit, ActiveCampaign or another platform.
Consolidate across Wix sites
If you manage multiple Wix sites (for different businesses or projects), export contacts from each and upload together. Deduplication shows your total unique email addresses.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Migrate to another platform
If moving from Wix to WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow or another platform, extract contact emails to re-create your mailing list and customer records.
Verify addresses
Wix contacts may include old or invalid addresses, especially from form submissions. Verification before campaigns is recommended. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, phone numbers, labels, sources, member statuses and other Wix fields are not carried over.
Contact sources
Wix Contacts collects contacts from multiple sources: forms, site members, store customers, bookings, chat, manually added. The export includes contacts from all sources.
Site members vs contacts
Site members are people who created an account on your Wix site. Contacts include members plus anyone who submitted a form, made a purchase or interacted with your site. The export may include both.
Labels
Wix uses labels to organise contacts (like tags). You can filter by label before exporting to get a specific group.
Wix Ascend
Wix Ascend was the previous name for Wix's business tools suite, including CRM and email marketing. It is now integrated into the Wix dashboard.
