How to Extract Emails from Brevo Reports

On this page

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs.

Why Extract from Brevo Reports?

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) provides campaign reports including opens, clicks, hard bounces, soft bounces, unsubscribes and complaints. Reports also cover transactional email performance and automation workflow analytics.

While the general Brevo export is covered in Extract Emails from Brevo Export, automation data in Extract Emails from Brevo Automations, and deal data in Extract Emails from Brevo Deals, this article focuses on report-specific exports for engagement-based lists.

How to Export from Brevo

  1. Log in to Brevo.
  2. Go to Campaigns then Statistics.
  3. Select a sent campaign.
  4. View opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes and complaints.
  5. Click on a metric to see the contact list.
  6. Export as CSV.

Exporting by engagement type

  2. Select Openers to see contacts who opened.
  3. Select Clickers to see contacts who clicked.
  4. Select Unsubscribers to see opt-outs.

  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Working with the Results

Engaged contact lists

Extract emails from contacts who opened or clicked. Import into a CRM for relationship tracking.

Complaint management

Export contacts who filed complaints. Suppress these addresses in external platforms.

Re-engagement

Extract emails from contacts with no recent opens. Use for win-back through different channels.

Verify addresses

Recorded opens and clicks do not confirm a human reader or a currently reachable mailbox. Security scanners can generate clicks, and privacy features can generate opens; compare activity with replies or conversions before interpreting engagement. See Mailchimp’s explanation of automated opens and clicks and Apple’s explanation of background content loading. Hard bounced addresses should be removed. See Best email verification services.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, lists, attributes, engagement data and other Brevo fields are not carried over.

Multi-channel platform

Brevo supports email, SMS, WhatsApp and chat. Campaign reports cover email specifically.
