Working with the Results

Engaged subscriber lists

Extract emails from subscribers who opened or clicked. Import into a CRM for sales follow-up.

Re-engagement

Extract emails from subscribers who did not open recent campaigns. Use the list for re-engagement with different content or subject lines.

Import into CRM

Import engaged subscriber emails into HubSpot, Salesforce or another CRM for relationship tracking.

Verify addresses

Recorded opens and clicks do not confirm a human reader or a currently reachable mailbox. Security scanners can generate clicks, and privacy features can generate opens; compare activity with replies or conversions before interpreting engagement. See Mailchimp’s explanation of automated opens and clicks and Apple’s explanation of background content loading. Bounced addresses need review. See Best email verification services.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, engagement counts, campaign names, groups and other MailerLite fields are not carried over.

Reports vs. subscriber data

Report exports focus on a single campaign's engagement. Subscriber exports give the full list with all attributes.
