How to Extract Emails from a Streak CRM Export
On this page
Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.
Why Extract from Streak CRM?
Streak is a CRM that lives inside Gmail. It turns your Gmail inbox into a pipeline management tool with columns for deals, hiring, support, fundraising or any custom workflow. Streak stores contact information alongside Gmail threads, including email addresses, names, phone numbers, pipeline stages, custom fields, notes and file attachments.
Extracting email addresses from Streak data is useful in several scenarios.
Migrating to another CRM. When moving from Streak to a standalone CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close), extracting email addresses ensures you have a clean list to verify migration completeness.
Building outreach lists. If you want to reach Streak contacts through a dedicated email marketing platform, extracting gives you a list of unique email addresses to import.
Consolidating contacts. If your team uses Streak alongside other tools (a marketing platform, a help desk, a project manager), extracting from each and deduplicating shows your total unique email-address count.
This counts distinct email strings using case-insensitive matching, not distinct people. One person may have multiple addresses, and shared addresses may represent several people.
Archiving before plan changes. Before changing Streak plans, removing team members or restructuring pipelines, extracting ensures you have an independent copy of every contact's email address.
How to Export from Streak
Streak allows you to export pipeline data, which includes contacts.
Exporting a pipeline
- Open Gmail (Streak runs inside Gmail).
- Click the Streak icon or go to the Streak sidebar.
- Open the pipeline you want to export.
- Click the menu icon (three dots or gear) for that pipeline.
- Select Export (or Export to spreadsheet).
- Streak exports the pipeline data as a CSV file or directly to Google Sheets, depending on your settings.
- If exported to Google Sheets, download as CSV from Google Sheets (File > Download > Comma-separated values).
Exporting contacts
Streak also has a dedicated contacts feature:
- Go to the Contacts view in Streak.
- Select all contacts or filter by criteria.
- Export using the available export option.
Export fields
Streak pipeline exports can include: box name (the entity being tracked, such as a deal or candidate), stage, email addresses associated with the box, contact names, phone numbers, custom columns, notes, dates and assignee. Contact exports include: email address, name, company, phone and other contact details.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file (or files, if you exported multiple pipelines). Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources to see which pipeline export each address came from.
Working with the Results
Compare across pipelines
If you have separate Streak pipelines for different purposes (sales, hiring, partnerships), export each and upload all files. The CSV with sources download shows which pipeline each email address belongs to, revealing contacts who appear in multiple pipelines.
Combine with Gmail contacts
Streak pulls contact data from Gmail threads. You may also have contacts in Google Contacts that are not in any Streak pipeline. Export from both Streak and Google Contacts, extract together, and deduplicate to see your total unique email-address count. See Extract emails from Google Contacts.
Prepare for CRM migration
When migrating from Streak to a traditional CRM, extract from all Streak pipelines first. The deduplicated list gives you a baseline contact count to verify against after import into the new CRM.
Verify addresses
Streak contacts accumulate over time from Gmail threads. Some addresses may belong to people you emailed years ago. Running the extracted list through a verification service identifies addresses that are no longer active. See Best email verification services.
Things to Know
Multiple email addresses per box
A Streak "box" (a row in a pipeline) can have multiple associated contacts, each with their own email addresses. All email addresses in the export are extracted. A deal with three stakeholders contributes three email addresses.
Column headers are not extracted
CSV column headers from Streak are text, not email addresses, so they do not appear in the extracted results.
Contact data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Contact names, companies, pipeline stages, custom fields, notes, dates and other metadata from the Streak export are not carried over. If you need those fields, import the original CSV directly.
Internal team addresses
If your team uses Streak collaboratively, the exported data may include your team members' email addresses (as box assignees or participants in email threads). These internal addresses will appear in the extracted results alongside external contacts.
Streak and Gmail dependency
Streak is tightly integrated with Gmail. If a team member leaves your Gmail workspace and their email threads are deleted or transferred, the corresponding Streak pipeline entries may be affected. Export before making organisational changes.
Shared pipelines
If your Streak pipelines are shared across a team, any team member with access can export. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions before exporting contacts, especially if pipelines contain sensitive client or candidate data.
