How to Extract Emails from Zoho Campaigns Segments

Why Extract Segments from Zoho Campaigns?

Zoho Campaigns is an email marketing platform integrated with the Zoho ecosystem. Its segmentation features let you filter contacts by engagement, location, CRM fields, custom fields, campaign activity and more.

Extracting email addresses from specific Zoho Campaigns segments is useful for importing targeted lists into a CRM, sharing data with teams, running campaigns through a different platform or cross-referencing with other data sources.

How to Export from Zoho Campaigns

Exporting a segment

1. Log in to Zoho Campaigns.
2. Go to Contacts then Manage Lists.
3. Select the list containing the segment.
4. Click Segments and select the segment.
5. Click Export to download as CSV.

Creating a segment for export

1. Go to Contacts then select a mailing list.
2. Click Create Segment.
3. Set criteria:
   • Opened or clicked a specific campaign.
   • Located in a specific country or region.
   • Custom field matches a specific value.
   • Added before or after a specific date.
   • CRM lead score above or below a threshold (if synced with Zoho CRM).
4. Save the segment.
5. Export as CSV.

Exporting by contact status

1. Go to Contacts then Manage Lists.
2. Select a list.
3. View contacts by status: active, unsubscribed, bounced, complained.
4. Export contacts with a specific status as CSV.

Using Zoho CRM sync

1. If Zoho Campaigns is connected to Zoho CRM, segments can use CRM fields.
2. Create segments using CRM lead or contact fields.
3. Export the segment from Zoho Campaigns.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
2. Select "Text and files."
3. Upload the CSV file from Zoho Campaigns. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
4. Click "Extract emails."
5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, custom fields, CRM data, engagement data and other Zoho Campaigns fields are not carried over.

Segments are list-specific

Zoho Campaigns segments are created within a specific mailing list. You cannot segment across multiple lists in a single query.

Zoho ecosystem integration
