How to Extract Emails from a Zoho Campaigns Export

Why Extract from Zoho Campaigns?
Zoho Campaigns is the email marketing product in the Zoho suite. It handles email campaigns, automations, subscriber management, A/B testing and campaign analytics. Zoho Campaigns integrates tightly with Zoho CRM, Zoho Forms, Zoho Commerce and other Zoho products. It stores subscriber records that include email addresses, names, custom fields, subscription status, list memberships and engagement data.
Extracting email addresses from Zoho Campaigns data is useful in several scenarios.
Migrating to another platform. When switching from Zoho Campaigns to a different email marketing service (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Kit, Brevo), a clean email list provides a starting point for the new platform.
Cross-referencing with Zoho CRM. Even though Zoho Campaigns integrates with Zoho CRM, you may want to compare the two independently. Extracting from both and deduplicating reveals which CRM contacts are subscribed in Campaigns and which are not.
Consolidating across marketing tools. If you use Zoho Campaigns alongside other marketing channels (social media ads, landing page tools, event platforms), extracting from each and deduplicating shows your total unique marketing audience.
Backing up your subscriber list. Having an independent copy of your subscriber email addresses outside of Zoho Campaigns ensures your list is portable and protected.
How to Export from Zoho Campaigns
Zoho Campaigns allows you to export subscriber data from your mailing lists.
Exporting a mailing list
- Log in to Zoho Campaigns.
- Go to Contacts (or Mailing Lists).
- Select the mailing list you want to export.
- Click Export (or find the export option in the list actions menu).
- Choose CSV as the format.
- Download the file.
Exporting all contacts
Depending on your Zoho Campaigns version, you may also be able to export all contacts across all lists from the contacts overview.
Export fields
Zoho Campaigns exports can include: email address, first name, last name, company, phone number, custom fields, subscription status (subscribed, unsubscribed, bounced), list membership, date added and other contact properties. The exact columns depend on your configuration.
How to Extract the Email Addresses
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the CSV file (or files, if you exported from multiple mailing lists). Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources to see which mailing list export each address came from.
Working with the Results
Compare with Zoho CRM
Export contacts from both Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns. Upload both files and extract. Deduplication creates a combined list of unique email addresses. Download CSV with sources and compare the source names to find addresses shared by the exports. Use the original campaign records to measure engagement frequency; repeated address text is not a count of human opens or clicks. CRM contacts missing from Campaigns may need to be added to marketing lists. Campaigns subscribers missing from the CRM may be leads that were never entered into the sales pipeline.

If you maintain multiple mailing lists in Zoho Campaigns, export each and upload all files. Deduplication creates a combined list of unique email addresses. Download CSV with sources and compare the source names to find addresses shared by the exports. Use the original campaign records to measure engagement frequency; repeated address text is not a count of human opens or clicks.
Migrate to another platform
Import the extracted list into your new email marketing platform. Since Email Extractor outputs email addresses only, subscriber names, custom fields and engagement data will not carry over. Use the original Zoho Campaigns CSV for those fields.

Things to Know
Column headers are not extracted
CSV column headers from Zoho Campaigns are text, not email addresses, so they do not appear in the extracted results.
Subscriber data is not preserved
Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, companies, phone numbers, custom fields, engagement data and other metadata from the Zoho Campaigns export are not carried over. If you need those fields in a new platform, import the original CSV directly.
Unsubscribed and bounced contacts
Depending on your export settings, Zoho Campaigns may include unsubscribed and bounced contacts. These addresses will appear in the extracted results. Do not re-subscribe these contacts on another platform. Check the status column in the original export.
Zoho ecosystem integration
Zoho Campaigns syncs contacts with other Zoho products. If you use Zoho CRM, contacts may appear in both systems. Changes in one (like an unsubscribe in Campaigns) may or may not sync to the other immediately, depending on your sync configuration. Export both and compare if you need to verify sync accuracy.
Topics and segments
Zoho Campaigns supports topic-based subscriptions and segments. These organisational structures help with targeting but are not separate contact stores. All contacts exist in mailing lists, and topic preferences and segment memberships are attributes of those contacts.
Zoho Campaigns vs Zoho Marketing Automation
Zoho also offers Zoho Marketing Automation (formerly Zoho MarketingHub), which is a more advanced marketing automation product. It is separate from Zoho Campaigns and has its own contact management. If you use both, export from each and extract together to see your total unique count.
