Why Accounting and Payment Tools Contain Customer Emails
Accounting platforms and payment processors store customer email addresses for invoicing, receipts, payment notifications and business communication. For many businesses, especially service companies, freelancers and B2B firms, the accounting system contains the most complete record of paying customers.
Extracting customer emails from these tools is useful for importing into a marketing platform, identifying your total customer base, consolidating data across business systems, comparing paying customers with CRM contacts or reaching customers with announcements and offers.

QuickBooks
QuickBooks (from Intuit) is the most widely used small business accounting platform. QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop provide invoicing, expense tracking, payments, payroll and reporting.

How to Extract from Any Platform
The process is the same across all platforms:
- Export customers, contacts or transaction data as CSV.
- Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
- Select "Text and files."
- Upload the file (or multiple files from different tools). Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
- Click "Extract emails."
- Review the results. Duplicates across all uploaded files are removed automatically.
- Download as TXT, CSV, or CSV with sources.
Consolidating Across Financial Tools
Many businesses use multiple financial tools. A freelancer might use FreshBooks for invoicing, Stripe for online payments and PayPal for international clients. Upload exports from all tools together. After Extraction
Import into a marketing platform
Accounting and payment tools are not marketing platforms. Import the extracted list into Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Kit or another email platform for newsletters, promotions and customer retention campaigns. Ensure you have consent for marketing communications.
Verify addresses

Consent considerations
Customer email addresses were collected for business transactions (invoicing, receipts). Using them for marketing may require additional consent depending on your jurisdiction and privacy policy.
