How to Extract Emails from LinkedIn Sales Navigator Export

On this page

Export and import options vary by plan, permissions and product version. Check the platform’s current help documentation if a menu or format differs. Use only contact data you are authorized to process; an extracted address is not proof of marketing consent.

Why Extract from LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a premium LinkedIn tool for sales prospecting. It provides advanced search filters (company size, industry, seniority, function, geography, recent activity), lead and account recommendations, InMail messaging, CRM integrations, lead lists, buyer intent signals and real-time updates on leads and accounts. Sales teams use Sales Navigator to identify decision-makers and build targeted prospect lists.

Sales Navigator is primarily designed for finding and engaging prospects within LinkedIn. However, some workflows involve exporting data from Sales Navigator (directly or through CRM sync) for use in other tools. Extracting email addresses from this exported data is useful for running outreach through email (complementing LinkedIn engagement), importing into tools not integrated with Sales Navigator, deduplicating against other data sources or verifying addresses.

How to Get Data Out of Sales Navigator

CRM sync export

Sales Navigator integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics. When sync is enabled, lead data flows into the CRM. Export from the CRM to get Sales Navigator leads as a CSV.

  1. Enable CRM sync in Sales Navigator settings.
  2. Save leads in Sales Navigator.
  3. Synced leads appear in your CRM.
  4. Export from the CRM as CSV.

Lead list export

Sales Navigator may offer direct export of lead lists depending on your plan and feature availability. Check the current export options in your Sales Navigator settings.

Third-party tools

Some sales teams use third-party tools or browser extensions alongside Sales Navigator to find email addresses for Sales Navigator leads. These tools (Lusha, RocketReach, Snov.io, Hunter.io, Apollo.io) have their own export features. See guides for each:

LinkedIn data download

LinkedIn allows users to download their own data (connections, messages, profile data) through the Settings and Privacy page. This is the standard LinkedIn data export, not specific to Sales Navigator. See Extract emails from LinkedIn connections.

How to Extract the Email Addresses

  1. Go to bulkemailextractor.com.
  2. Select "Text and files."
  3. Upload the CSV file(s) exported from your CRM, Sales Navigator or third-party tool. Up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per batch.
  4. Click "Extract emails."
  5. Review the results. Duplicates are removed automatically.
  6. Download as TXT for a plain list, CSV for a single-column spreadsheet, or CSV with sources.

Working with the Results

Email outreach

Sales Navigator is designed for LinkedIn engagement (InMail, connection requests, profile views). Adding email outreach creates a multi-channel approach. Import the extracted emails into an outreach platform (Outreach, Salesloft, Reply.io, Lemlist) to run email sequences alongside LinkedIn touches.

Deduplicate against other sources

If you use Sales Navigator alongside B2B data providers (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo.io), upload all exports together. Deduplication shows total unique prospects across all sources.

Verify addresses

Email addresses obtained through CRM sync or third-party tools may vary in accuracy. Running the extracted list through a verification service before email outreach reduces bounces. See Best email verification services.

Things to Know

Contact data is not preserved

Email Extractor outputs email addresses only. Names, titles, companies, LinkedIn URLs and other profile data from the export are not carried over.

LinkedIn does not provide email addresses directly

Sales Navigator shows LinkedIn profile information but does not directly display or export email addresses of prospects (unless the prospect has made their email publicly visible on their profile). Email addresses are typically obtained through CRM records, third-party enrichment tools or the prospect sharing their contact details.

CRM sync limitations

CRM sync pushes Sales Navigator lead data to your CRM, but the synced data may not include email addresses unless the CRM already has them or an enrichment tool adds them.

LinkedIn terms of service

LinkedIn's terms govern how data on the platform can be used. Automated scraping of LinkedIn data is prohibited. Sales Navigator provides approved ways to engage with prospects.

InMail

InMail is Sales Navigator's messaging feature for reaching people you are not connected with. InMail engagement is tracked within Sales Navigator.

Lead and account lists

Sales Navigator allows saving leads (people) and accounts (companies) to lists. Lists can be shared with team members and integrated with CRM workflows.

TeamLink

Sales Navigator's TeamLink feature shows connections your colleagues have to your target prospects. This is a relationship-mapping feature within the platform.
